Our Story

10 years ago, Stroke survivors from the local community all came together to create a support group for those who are trying to accept the changes of how strokes have affected their daily lives, and the impact it can have. Since then our organisation has helped many warriors become less overwhelmed.

As a community group, we can see how our support can assist others, so that we can work as a community. Our organisation helps victims in multiple ways such as therapy, group sessions and socialisation. Having that sense of support and stability can be a great comfort of victims or friends, family members of stroke warriors.

The Stroke Warriors are individuals who have experienced a stroke, or the friends and family of those who have. We are dedicated to the recovery journey.

We offer peer support, whilst raising public awareness and funds for stroke related causes.

Our work involves celebrating the progress of our group members, encouraging them, and advocating for a better understanding of stroke and its long-term effects.

Every Tuesday we invite members to meet at Cathedral Hall in Enniskillen from 11am to 1pm. These gatherings provide a safe environment where stroke survivors can connect and share their stories.
